Case Study "Both the course and location of the College were factors in choosing Wakefield. I found it to be an excellent learning experience. "Tutors knew their subjects well, delivering a variety of teaching methods in classes with good use of ILT. Resources were always available, and we have our own HE study room and common room. Tutors were always available if queries ever arose. "The course has made me aware of the importance of reflecting and assessing your strengths and weaknesses, and it helps you look at the bigger picture and target your development needs better. "I wish to pursue a career in teaching and I am exploring several avenues to achieve this goal, and with the degree behind me, my confidence is high. "Wakefield is very experienced already at delivering HE courses, and this leads to the College always looking to further improve the learning experience. What I would say to others who may be enrolling onto an HE course at Wakefield College is to take advantage of the excellent resources available and tutors' teaching experience of HE."
