Course Overview

This course is ideal for learners who are interested in the automotive industry but may not yet have achieved the required grades in English or Maths. It offers a supportive introduction to a range of motor vehicle disciplines, helping students build confidence, practical skills, and a foundation for future progression.

The course covers key areas including light vehicle maintenance, basic body and paint techniques, and an introduction to motorcycle maintenance. It is a multi-skilled programme designed to give students a broad overview of the industry and prepare them for further study at Level 1.

Students will also work towards improving their English and Maths skills as part of the course. These subjects are embedded into the programme and tailored to support learners' individual needs, helping them gain the qualifications needed for further training or employment.

What You Will Study

A mixture of workshop and theory sessions as well as working towards achieving Maths and English.

You will be assessed through practical tasks in the workshops and completion of portfolio work.
