Beauty Therapy is a diverse and thriving industry

In today’s competitive business climate, it is more important than ever for
people to achieve recognised qualifications.
It should be noted that
there is a large amount of anatomy and physiology involved in this course. You
will be taught in our state-of-the-art salon, which is open to the general
public and mirrors the industry; you will therefore be assessed not only in
aspects of Beauty Therapy but also on professionalism, punctuality and
reliability.
You will also be expected to complete one week’s work
experience in a salon.

How You Will Be Assessed
Coursework / written tests / continuous practical assessments
Entry Requirements
5 GCSEs at Grade 9-3, including English or Maths.
OR
Successful completion of Level 1 Hair and Beauty, evidence of progression in English and Maths and a successful interview.
Further Study
On successful completion of the Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy, you can progress to the Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy.
Please note: if you have not achieved a Grade 4 or above in GCSE English and/or Maths, you will be required to continue studying these alongside your college course.
