You will gain hands-on experience in:
- Client Consultation
- Cutting
- Colouring
- Styling
- Setting
- Plaiting and twisting
Plus either:
- Cut mens hair OR
- Salon reception
You will be assessed not only on your practical skills and your theory
knowledge, but also on punctuality, reliability and professionalism. You will
work and be assessed on clients who are paying members of the public.
As part of this programme you will complete one week on work experience in a
salon. This may involve travelling some distance and working late evenings where
necessary.
