Programme Design and Overview If you are interested in developing your skills in motorcycle maintenance and repair, this is the course for you. It involves attending at our Castleford Campus with its state-of-the-art motor vehicle workshops for one day per week.
What you will Study

You will study a variety of units including:

  • Engine systems
  • Braking systems
  • Steering/Suspension
  • Electrical

How you will Learn The course is a fairly even split between classroom based theory lessons and practical workshops.
Course Structure Classroom based 50% Practical work 50%
Nature of Assessments on the Programme Continuous assessment in the workshop and end-of-unit examinations.
Entry Requirements A Level 1 qualification in motorcycle maintenance or previous practical experience, and a healthy interest in progressing your skills in this area.
Attendance Expectations One day per week
Fee Information

These fees relate to 2022/23

Part time one day per week £920.00

Any student entered/registered with an Awarding Body who has been given free entry and then withdraws or is withdrawn by a tutor will incur the certification fee associated with the course. Any re-sit examination will incur a cost.

Different fees apply to international/overseas students and those studying this qualification as a standalone course.
