Course Overview
An evening course for those interested in producing their own music. This course is also suitable for people wishing to develop their interest as a career or hobbyists producing music at home.
What you will Study
Utilising the industry-standard software Logic Pro X, you will explore creating beats, sound design, production techniques, mixing and mastering. Learn the fundamentals of arranging and composing in EDM genres such as House, Drum & Bass, Hip-Hop and R&B on fully equipped Mac workstations.
How you will Learn
Workshops that will focus on a specific genre each week. Demonstrations and practical experience with support from a tutor with many years' experience in the music industry.
How you will be Assessed
The course is not formally assessed.
Entry Requirements
A keen interest in music production is required. Some basic knowledge would be useful but not essential.
Attendance Expectations
Wednesdays, 6 pm - 8.30 pm, for seven weeks.
