The bulk of your learning will therefore be in the workplace, but training and support will be provided to ensure that you are meeting the required standard. You will work on a one-to-one basis with your Assessor, whose visits will be flexible to meet your needs and the needs of your employer.
How you will be Assessed
You will be allocated an assessor who will develop an individual learning plan and will guide you to develop an electronic portfolio of evidence to meet the learning outcomes. You will be assessed on your knowledge and workplace performance.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements except a College interview, and you
must be at least 16 years of age. However, since this qualification is assessed
in the workplace, you need a job or work placement which offers you suitable
experience and the chance to demonstrate the necessary skills.
Basic computer skills are essential.
Attendance Expectations
Your Assessor will need to meet with you regularly to monitor your progress and to plan your assessment sessions. These meetings can take place either at your workplace or on College premises.
