Course Overview
When you answer the telephone at work you are representing your company or department which will be judged by how well you handle the call. This course is aimed at helping you to give an excellent first impression. You will also learn how to control the call in a timely and professional manner even when the caller is difficult.
What you will Study
This is an introduction to professional telephone techniques and
includes:
• Image
• Tone of voice
• Listening skills
• Questioning
techniques
• Attitude and behaviour
• How to deal with ‘awkward’
callers
The course can be tailored to meet individual companies'
needs.
How you will Learn
Through a variety of exercises and group discussions.
How you will be Assessed
There are no exams or formal assessments, however you will complete activities to support learning throughout the course.
