Course Overview

The Level 1 Award in Cybersecurity is a foundational qualification that will introduce you to the basics of cybersecurity. You will learn about the different types of cyberattacks, how to protect yourself and your organization from cyberattacks, and the importance of cybersecurity best practices.

This course is ideal for learners who want to:

The course covers a range of topics, including:

• The different types of cyberattacks
• How to protect yourself and your organization from cyberattacks
• The importance of cybersecurity best practices

How you will be Assessed You will be assessed through a portfolio of evidence.
Entry Requirements There are no specific entry requirements. All applicants will be expected to complete an initial assessment diagnostic.
Attendance Expectations

One 2.5-hour session per week for 12 weeks.

Fee Information

This course may be FREE to you subject to eligibility criteria. Funding is available for those claiming benefits or on a low wage. (Eligibility criteria applies.) If you are not entitled to any funding the course fee is £330.
