Course Overview Developing a sound basis for aspiring managers and leaders, this popular course is for junior/middle managers or those hoping to achieve that role and is designed to develop your management skills whatever your industry or organisational type.
What you will Study

The CMI Level 5 Award in Management and Leadership is achieved by completing one of these modules:

• Principles of management and leadership in an organisational context
• Principles of developing, managing and leading individuals and teams to achieve success
• Managing stakeholder relationships
• Managing projects to achieve results
• Managing change
• Creating and delivering operational plans
• Managing finance
• Using reflective practice to inform personal and professional development

If you’re interested in the apprenticeship route, we will introduce you to our business development and admin teams as there is paperwork required for compliance before enrolment.

How you will Learn The programme is structured on a modular basis and each module is delivered using a range of techniques including lectures, group work, case studies and technology.
How you will be Assessed All units have 2 taught sessions each and are achieved via assignment with approx. 4000 word count.
Entry Requirements

Ideal for operational managers who have significant day to day responsibility for departments and/or operational teams.

English and Maths at Level 2 (Level 2 FS or GCSE Grade C or above / 4 or above).

Where the applicant does not meet the course entry requirements - Level 2 or GCSE qualification at grade C/4 or above in maths and/or English, entry will be considered on previous leadership and management qualifications.

Prospective students will be interviewed prior to being accepted on the course.

Attendance Expectations Virtual sessions will be delivered via MS Teams. Students can start the course at regular points throughout the year.
