Course Overview
DIY courses are designed for homeowners and property developers interested in
developing the practical skills to complete tasks within residential premises
they own. The courses are offered with flexible start dates throughout the year.
You will develop your skills through practical activity in our purpose-built
workshop areas.
What you will Study
The content of each course is varied:
- Awareness of Health and Safety associated with carpentry work
- Introduction to tools and use
- Jointing timber
- Skirting and architrave
- Hanging a door
- Fixing locks
