This programme is aimed at learners aged 16-19-years old who wish to work
within the Building Services Engineering Industry primarily around Electrical
This two-year course has been developed in collaboration with employers and
businesses so that the content meets the needs of industry and prepares learners
Over the two years you will combine College-based studies along with a
minimum of a 45-day industry placement.
The T level encompasses:
• The technical knowledge and practical skills
required for the professional and technical role
• Maths, English and Digital
skills required for the professional and technical role
• An industry
placement of at least 45 days.
During this time, you will study a range of topics including core content
that has been designed to give you a breadth of knowledge and skills for which
you can apply in a variety of contexts related to the industry. Together with an
employer-based project, the completion of this course will give you the
opportunity to progress onto a Higher Education course, apprenticeship training
